Going Green

Living green is about more than just being "environmentally friendly" (even though that is very important) it's about taking care of your health and the health of the world around you. Synthetic living has gone on too long; it's time to take nature back and use what it gives us to live better.

White Glove Boutique is committed to changing the way cleaning is done. There are ways to get a home or office clean without the use of harmful toxins that compromise health. With products that focus on nature's bountiful supply of anti-bacterials, such as Tee Tree Oil and other potent botanical germ-killers. It is possible for a product made with a ph-balance or citrus fruits to clean in a more effective manner than one with the name of a toxin built into the title. We will not use any toxic chemicals such as bleach, ammonia or other potentially harmful products in your home.

When we say "Green Cleaning" we want to emphasize that we intend to have as little impact on our environment as possible. We are learning and growing every day with regards to how we can serve you better, while still holding true to our core standards. This means we will bring in all our own cleaning supplies (with the only current exception being a vacuum if you have one we are able to use). We utilize microfiber cloths and sponges as well as all of our own dusting supplies. We use color coded cloths between rooms to prevent spreading dust particles around your home. We wash every cloth very carefully (with safe/scent-free detergent, to cut down on any potential allergens) and will even set certain sponges/cloths aside exclusively for loyal customers who order multiple cleanings.
 
Another way we can cut down on use and waste is to purchase only quality products. "You get what you pay for." This is so true on many levels. If you buy cheap, you get cheap and end up having to toss your money away. We are not going to go out and buy the most expensive cleaners we can find, but we refuse to skimp (it's ends up costing more over time and creates more waste in land-fills). This crosses over to the business side as well. We are working towards having all energy star rated equipment, eco-friendly transportation, time-saving programs, and over-all reducing paperwork. White Glove Boutique is determined to give unmatched customer service while making every effort to fight against waste and inefficiency.
